Paralegal or Legal Assistant
The Randolph Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a full time paralegal or legal assistant. We are seeking the right person, not a quick fit. We are growing rapidly and we want someone who will grow with us. At least one year of Washington State family law experience is wanted, but will train the right candidate in family law. It is a plus if you have Idaho family law experience, civil litigation experience, and or catastrophic injury experience. The candidate must have a high attention to detail, dedication to customer service, and professionalism in all communications. Work includes, but is not limited to, filling out family law forms, basic pleadings, motions, proposed orders, calendaring, setting motions, calling in motions ready, scanning documents, picking up mail at the Spokane office, and organizing case files. Any experience with Clio Manage is a plus. Speaking a second language, especially Spanish is a plus. Position will be remote after initial training with in person meetings once a week or so to discuss caseloads and tasks. May require driving to Coeur d’Alene at times. We are seeking applications for an associate attorney. This is entry level or can be a lateral. We are growing rapidly and this will be a partnership track position with job enrichment. Things we are looking for in a candidate are: a) top grades in Law School such as honors designation like magna cum laude or summa cum laude, b) the desire, ability, and or track record of being a trial attorney (recent grads moot court experience); c) excellence in written work (law review is appreciated); d) ability to maintain a healthy life work balance; and, e) a happy outlook on life and the ability to provide top notch customer service.
Prior litigation or family law experience, whether as an attorney, intern, or paralegal is appreciated. A diverse background, community connections, and the ability to speak Spanish is a plus. A candidate who is hired will learn family law and have the opportunity to work on major catastrophic injury cases and second chair major trials.
